Treating infertility
In vitro Fertilization (IVF): The IVF treatment process involves collecting eggs from ovaries, fertilizing the eggs with sperm (done in a laboratory dish) and then transferring the embryos back into the uterus. This procedure is effective and popular amongst couples which struggle with infertility.
Intrauterine Insemination (IUI): This procedure places the sperm into the uterus at the time of ovulation and enhances the chances of fertilization.
Donor Eggs/Sperm: if one partner is the cause of infertility, couples can opt for a healthy donor egg or healthy donor sperm.
Surrogacy: This can be done if a woman cannot carry out the pregnancy. Another woman carries out the pregnancy, with the sperm and egg of the couple.

Understanding IVF
IVF stands for In vitro fertilization. In vitro is a Latin term which means “in a glass/in a tube” referring to the fertilization being done outside of the body, in laboratory instruments. These are the steps of the IVF:
1) Tests for both partners
2) If there are any issues identified, a course medicine and/or treatment can be prescribed before you commence IVF.
3) Once results are satisfactory, attend clinic on the 2nd menstrual cycle day
4) A course of medication is prescribed for 3-5 days
5) Egg and sperm collection
6) The doctor connects the egg and sperm to form an embryo
7) Transferring the embryo to the mother’s body and continuing with the medicine until a positive pregnancy test

To be done on the second or third day of menstruation: FSH, TSH, Estradiol, AMH, Progesterone, Ca-125.
Fasting tests on other days: Fasting blood sugar, Fasting insulin, Complete blood count, HbsAg, Anti HCV, Anti HIV, Anti HBs, Toxoplasma IgM, Toxoplasma IgG, Rubella IgM, Rubella IgG, CMV IgM, CMV IgG, Blood type. HSG (Hysterosalpingography)
Tests required from the man:
Semen analysis (with sexual abstinence for 2-5 days).
Blood tests:
Total testosterone, FSH, ALT, AST, Complete blood count, HbsAg, Anti HBs, Anti HCV, Anti HIV, Blood type.

PRP treatment In Vitro Fertilization
When sufficient uterine lining thickness is not obtained, the answer to the question can be given by applying treatment with the liquid part of the blood purified from the clotting cells in the woman's own blood.
